Biography
Sydney Brasfield is an associate in the Montgomery office and practices in the areas of litigation and real estate.
Sydney graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2020, where she served as Managing Editor of the Law & Psychology Review, a chairman of the Student Government Association’s Financial Affairs Committee, a member of the Dorbin Women’s Law Association, and a student attorney for the Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Legal Clinic.

Prior to attending law school, Sydney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama’s Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies. She served as Chief Justice of the Academic Honor Council, and completed her senior research on "Sports, Rhetoric & Political Struggle," published in 2019.

While attending law school, Sydney clerked for the Atlanta Braves' Legal Department, where she worked closely with the Chief Legal Officer and legal team to reconstruct corporate internal policy legislation. In addition to her clerkship with the Braves, she served on the Summer Legal Team for SportsTrust Advisors, where she worked closely on all legal issues influencing the firm’s high-profile clients. While completing her undergraduate degree, Sydney worked for the Alabama Law Institute.
Sydney is a lifelong fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Outside of work, she enjoys trying to cook and spending time with her family and friends.
