Ham Wilson obtained a defense verdict for an emergency room physician and his emergency room staffing contractor in an eight day trial in Dallas County, Alabama (Selma) on June 18, 2015. The allegations involved negligent failure to order at CT scan for purposes of diagnosing a subarachnoid hemorrhage in a fifteen year old girl, resulting in brain surgery and brain injury. The plaintiffs sought compensatory damages between $6-$11 million.
