Hope Hicks and Allison Ingram Obtain Summary Judgment on Outrage Claim

Hope Hicks and Allison Ingram represented Ball Ball’s client in a matter where the plaintiff alleged that her employer and its insurer committed outrage in the handling of her workers’ compensation claim. 


Hope Hicks and Allison Ingram filed for summary judgment on the outrage claim in the workers' compensation case arguing that the Defendants properly provided medical treatment and had no plan to coerce her into settlement. U.S. Magistrate Judge Kelly Pate of the Middle District of Alabama granted summary judgment to Ball Ball’s client.

Ingram is also admitted to practice law in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. She has orally argued cases in front of the Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court.
