The Alabama Supreme Court recently affirmed the dismissal of litigation seeking to stop the development of a project to enhance Alabama’s Gulf State Park with the use of funds received by the State from the BP settlement related to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tabor successfully argued that the Plaintiffs (two state officials) lacked standing to bring the action. Tabor represented Alabama’s Governor, Commissioner of Conservation , State Finance Director and Project Director in the litigation.
